Water Day is scheduled for Thursday, May 17th

PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING RULES AND EXPECTATIONS WITH YOUR SCHOLARS BEFORE WATER DAY!

 

Some rules that scholars should be aware of:

·         Water Day is a privilege. Teachers and staff will determine which scholars will be invited to participate.

·         Scholars should come to school dressed in clothing that can get wet. All clothing MUST be school appropriate.

·         No two piece swim suits permitted, even under clothing. ALL scholars will be required to wear a shirt over their suits. Shorts are also encouraged!

·         Scholars should apply sunscreen before school, and bring sunscreen to apply throughout the day. Please remind scholars they should not share sunscreen with friends due to allergies.

·         Bring a hat and towel. Scholars will be responsible for keeping track of their items.

·         Scholars will be required to wear shoes when rotating between stations for safety reasons. Sandals with a back strap are permitted. However, Absolutely NO flip flops. Water shoes are acceptable footwear for the event, but should not be worn throughout the rest of the day.

·         Bring a change of dry clothes/shoes that MUST be school appropriate.

 

·         Parents are welcome to come watch scholars, but will NOT be allowed to participate in the event.

 

·         For their safety, younger/older siblings who do not attend MES will NOT be allowed on campus during Water Day.

 

Scholars who do not adhere to ALL of the above expectations will not be invited to participate in Water Day.
